About Me
Hello! My name is Emily Manzanares, and I’m passionate about all things creative. From a young age, I’ve been deeply involved in art. I used to sell mini clay figurines to my family and even had a DIY YouTube channel. For birthdays, I became known for gifting my friends Amigurumi plushies of their favorite characters and hand-drawing them personalized birthday cards. These early experiences have shaped me into the advertising creative I am today.
I’m truly passionate about creativity and design, and I love exploring new ways to bring ideas to life through visual storytelling and strategic thinking.
Currently, I’m a student in the Advertising & Brand Strategy program at the University of North Texas. I’m also pursuing a minor in Marketing and hold an Associate’s degree in Business Management. Additionally, I’ve earned certificates in Human Resource Assistance, Management, Retail Management, and Supervision from Dallas College. This diverse background allows me to blend strategic thinking with creative planning, helping me develop unique and effective brand-focused projects.

My last name, Manzanares, closely resembles the Spanish word for apple, manzana.
I grew up being associated with apples (and even being nicknamed “Apples”), so turning the fruit into my brand felt natural. It’s personal, fun, memorable, and is rooted in my identity.
Why the Apple Theme?
